Hi everyone, today I would like to talk about Ayutthaya province. Ayutthaya is an old capital of Thailand. The full name of Ayutthaya is Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Ayutthaya is important for Thailand because Ayutthaya has long history. Ayutthaya province is popular for tourists. There are a lot of temples and pagodas.

First of all, I will tell you about history of Ayutthaya province. Ayutthaya was founded in 1350 by King U-Thong. It was the capital of Thailand for 417 years then Ayutthaya was attacked by the Burmese army in 1767. Ayutthaya was ruled by 33 kings and 5 different dynasties. Ayutthaya province are nearing Lopburi, Ang Thong, Saraburi, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, Saraburi and Suphan Buri province.

Second, I will tell you about climate in Ayutthaya because this is information for tourists who want to go Ayutthaya. There are 3 seasons

•        Hot season – March – May
•        Rainy season – June – October
•        Cool season – November – February

Moreover, you can travel around Ayutthaya many way such as bus, bicycle, boat and elephant. You can sit on an elephant and visit to the view. This is a highlight for traveling in Ayutthaya.

Finally, Ayutthaya province is most popular for tourists because Ayutthaya has a lot of history and temple. You can come for seeing cultural and lifestyle because the people of Ayutthaya are proud of their heritage such as beautiful temples, palaces and arts.

Blog#8 Tourism Trend in Thailand

Hello everyone, today I would like to talk about tourism trend in Thailand. Thailand has many places that interested because Thailand tourism is a number one of trend such as tourism, shopping, foods. Thai people are friendly for everyone because they always smiley.

What will be the trend for tourist arrivals in Thailand?

Thailand has many things that make tourists interested such as Thailand has 4 regions, there have north, west, south and east. Tourists can learn about Thai culture, lifestyle. Each region has different culture and lifestyle that make tourist interested. The trend for tourists, when tourists come to Thailand, they would like to play boxing because boxing is the popular sport in Thailand and make their impression.

How many foreign tourists are expected in the year 2013?

Thailand is the most attractive tourism destination in Southeast Asian region in the eye of foreign visitors. According to Ministry of Tourism and Sport of Thailand. The latest tourism figures have been released for Thailand and they are showing 8.66 percent increase for January-August 2012 compared to the same period last year. 58 percent ranked Thailand as the best ASEAN destination, followed by Vietnam (34.1 percent), Cambodia (30.6 percent), Laos (30.3 percent) and Singapore (26.1 percent). Moreover, the most tourists that come to Thailand, they come from China, Malaysia, Japan, Russia and South Korea.

What problems do foreign tourists have when traveling by themselves in Thailand?

Every country in the world have problem for tourists but in Thailand has about misdemeanor. These problems always happen in the night because the night cannot see a face of thief clearly. For example, in recently, I-phone4 of tourist was stolen by the thief at the BTS station.

What can you suggest to resolve the problem?

I think the tourists should have plan when they are going anywhere and the tourists cannot trust anyone because someone want to your money. If the tourists have a problem, they can suggest or ask to the policeman and guide. However If you are going anywhere, you should study about information these place.

Blog#9 Open house in RMUTT

Hi everyone, today I would like to present about open house 2013 at Rajamagala University of Technology Thanyaburi. This is my university that I’m studying. Open house 2013 is opening for 3 days, 18-19 January 2013.

Open house is an activity for high school student because these activities want to give information for student who wants study at here. Each faculty has shown a lot of contribution such as faculty of home economic technology, they have shown a lot of dresses that their made it, Faculty of engineering they have made a solar car. This is a part of activity in RMUTT.

Moreover, in the university, they have a lot of booth. For example some of booth has selling food, handcrafts and beverages.

Finally, high school student can choose faculty that they want to learn because university has a lot of faculty. So they have shown information of each faculty and product of student. These activities want to high school student come to study here. 

Blog#7 Thai Silk

Hello everyone, today, I would like to talk about difference between Thai silk and other countries silk. Thai silk has important for Thai people because the generation of Thai people had wear Thai silk until today.

Silk was originated in China and India. It is happening about 2640 B.C. Chinese merchants have spread silk in Asia area. India is a large consumer of silk in the world. Each country has different style of silk. For example Chinese silk may be has dragon and peacock picture on the silk. For Thailand, silk is produced from cocoons of Thai silkworms. Thai weaver who is making silk in Thailand, the most of people come from Khorat. Khorat province is in the northeast region of Thailand. The Queen in Thailand likes to wear Thai silk so much. She has opened foundation for Thai silk. That's make people have a job. It's calling OTOP.

Finally, silk is quality cloth because process for making is complicate. Thai silk is smooth and soft because they are making by hand or handmade. However, I would like to suggest Thai silk for everyone. May be you like it.

Blog#6 Where to stay in Thailand?

If you talking about places to travel. Thailand has many places to travel because every parts of Thailand have beautiful and interesting so much. I believe that each part of Thailand has places to stay that comfortable.

Thailand has a lot of hotel range from home stay until five stars hotel. For example if you have travel in Pattaya, I would like you to suggest Amari hotel. This hotel is 5 stars hotel. They have all of facilities such as free Wfi, swimming pool. They have 2 kinds of room.

Finally, I think Amari is a best choice for people who want to stay in hotel.  Most of the hotels in Thailand are comforted for everyone. You can take a rest in every hotels and resorts then you will get everything that you wants.

Blog#5 Tourism Thailand: Perfect Destination

If you talk about travelling in Thailand, I would like to suggest Songkran’s Day. This day is important for people in Thailand because a lot of people can show the respectful to the older. Songkran’s Day is beginning in 13-15 April. Long time ago Thai people celebrate as their New year in 13^th April.

A lot of travelers have come to Thailand for Songkran’s Day. They have played splashing water with Thai people. The people who are Buddhist may also go to temple for pray and give food to monks. All of these you can make merit in the temple too. The splashing water is showing to pay respect the people.

Nowadays, In Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. They have many places for enjoying Songkran’s Day such as Silom, Khaosan road because people have fun for splashing water. However, each province in Thailand has arrange Songkran’s Day depend on culture.

Finally, Songkran’s Day is important for Thai people forever because people can show respect to the older. Then they can play splashing water together.
